In the future, power plants will generate electricity from mixed renewable sources. It will therefore necessary to stock energy efficiently when the production of solar or wind power exceeds the demand. This patent describes an efficient, cost effective and easy to install system that stores and converts electrical energy.
The system can store tens of kilowatt hour or thousands of megawatt hour and does not require particular geological structures, as do the alternative compressed air or pumped hydroelectric energy storage systems. When unpredictable and extremely variable power sources such as wind produce more than required in that moment, the system will be able to store the excess electrical energy. It is a reliable, flexible and low-cost system that has very short ignition cycle.

  • Connector for timber walls

This patented anchoring system is ideally used in timber construction. Its special shape and material are ideal to connect wood walls or to anchor them to concrete foundations, even in high seismic risk areas. This invention is an X-shaped steel[...]

  • Raw material recovery from solar panels

Over the next decade, the number of unserviceable photovoltaic solar panels will increase dramatically, reasonably tens of millions only in Italy. How can we dispose of the dismissed solar panels and recover their most precious raw materials? This patent has[...]

  • Smart skin solar screen

This solar shading system can improve the energy efficiency of buildings by controlling the amount of solar radiation that hits vertical surfaces, with automated panel positioning, based on internal and external temperature as well as local illumination values. Modular, scalable[...]
